About Rivka

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor  in private practice.  My  offices  are  located in Brooklyn  and  Woodmere. I have received intensive post graduate training and experience providing psychotherapy using the following treatment modalities:

My practice is focused on a variety of issues but the process always involves accepting oneself while moving towards change. Many of my clients have experienced trauma and are trying to build meaningful lives despite the challenges they have been through. The trauma will manifest in different ways unique to that person.  I  am  also  a  registered  yoga  teacher  and   utilize  yoga  based  principles which  blend seamlessly with  psychotherapy to help heal the mind-body connection.
